You have a concept of power. And then there's power itself. They are not the same.

Hello Luminous Reader,

I've been sitting with something these last couple of weeks. Something I've been seeing in my sessions lately that I want to share with you.

The sessions have been hitting deeper layers. Layers that feel like bedrock. And that bedrock is crumbling. Cracks are forming.

Here's what I keep meeting:

Someone who has done the work. Decades of it. Modality after modality, healer after healer. And still, nothing moves. You watch everyone around you shifting, having experiences, and for you healing comes slowly, if at all.

You feel stuck — bordering on despair, wondering if you'll ever break through, ever feel the change yourself.

It lives in the body as chronic pain. Heaviness. Anxiety. Constant hypervigilance... waiting for the other shoe to drop. A disconnection from yourself so deep you can't feel the shifts even when they come.

Beyond the Body

Here's what I've come to understand.

It’s frozen grief.

We keep going to these places in space and time, other lifetimes where we were witness to massive death and destruction, powerless to stop it. That grief has never left us. It froze in the body.

I have these memories myself. Even now, when I touch it, I still feel the shock. Devastation beyond comprehension and the helplessness.

You survived. And you were left to carry the loss. You couldn't save anyone, and some part of you has been carrying that ever since.

So it makes sense that it lives in you now as chronic pain. Heaviness. Anxiety. Feeling obligated to help everyone around at the expense of your own well-being.

That lifetime left an imprint on the Light of your soul so deep it reverberates through your current incarnation. Your body carries it. And still, it is beyond the body.

Why it Runs Deep

Here's why this one runs so deep.

You came here with a mission. You feel it, even if you can't name it. A part of you knows you're here to help, to bring your Light to the world.

But in those lifetimes, you couldn't save anyone. You failed. You let yourself down. You let them down.

And that imprint is still alive in you… and it may be the root of the inner conflict and dis-ease you’re living with.

When you move toward your power, you don't trust it. You don't want to hurt anyone. You don't want it misused or abused. You don't want to become a target.

Because once, you were.

The part of you that lives with this tells you:

You saw how power is destructive. They wiped them out. You were a target if they knew about your power. Those who said they'd help ended up hurting you. How could the Light lose. You feel powerless. You made a vow never to use it again. You cursed yourself. You cloaked it so well you forgot how to reveal it.

Playing small is being safe. Being bold is being unsafe.

Your Power

But here's what I've come to know.

The power you vowed never to use, was never your power.

The power you saw destroy, the power that wiped them out, the power that made you a target, that isn't yours.

That's the distortion. That's power turned against life.

When the women I work with define power, they describe it as masculine. Destructive. Controlling.

That’s how I once defined it too.

When I reached my 40s, the decade of personal power, I kept waiting for that strength to arrive. I expected it to announce itself.

But when I finally felt my own power, it was quiet, not silent. Ever present. Unwavering. Soft.

There's a gap between what we think a thing is and how the thing actually feels. You have a concept of power. And then there's power itself. They are not the same.

Set aside everything you believe power is, and feel how your power actually moves through you. Cultivate a relationship with your power.

What Moves

When you meet those parts of yourself frozen in fear and grief with compassion, love, and presence — something shifts.

You feel lighter. Your body moves more freely. The fear dissolves. You feel hopeful. IN-powered. Connected to yourself, and to why you're here now on earth.

Just this week, I watched someone move from "humanity doesn't deserve this planet" to hope in a single session.

And another who, for decades, tried various modalities and healers without feeling any changes. But, when we touched upon this bedrock she finally felt a shift — her knee pain subsided.

Your Invitation

This is also what's begun to surface in the second month of Opening the Heart. The flower essence we're walking with right now is bringing this very thing to our awareness… the powerlessness, the vow, the mission that's been waiting all along.

If you feel the pull to walk this path, Devotion is closed. But you're welcome to join the waitlist for Initiation Season 2.

Blessings, Bree

P.S. I'd love to hear what stirred as you read this. What resonated. What cracked open. And if you're willing, tell me what power actually feels like to you, not the concept of it, but the felt thing, when you set aside your idea and feel how it moves. Just hit reply. I read every one.

Your body is perfectly designed for these times. It offers you immense power and unique gifts. It is guided by the Heart and emanates from the All That Is. You are here to enjoy your body and live a joyful, fulfilling, healthy and purposeful life.

My mission is to harmonize the nature of oneself. If this resonates, I'd be honored if you'd share it with someone ready to step into their radiance. 🙏🏻
